Aims: to get prepared to speak about different jobs and provide particular tasks in order to

10 -12 min	Test		Dictates 30 verbs in Lithuanian (only once).	Write the forms in English.	To settle the main forms of the irregular verbs. To check whether Ss know the main forms of the irregular verbs that are important in tenses.
1-2 min	Finishing checking HW		Ex 3 Asks someone to read the last table from the Ex 3. Asks about any unknown words.	One of the students reads the words filled in the table.	To check Ss understanding of the words
10 min	Practice		Teacher asks to take a look at Ex 4 on pg. 24. Asks one of the Ss to read the task. Asks Ss complete the task in pairs. After several minutes teacher asks individuals to repeat theirs descriptions.	One of the Ss reads the task. Students join into groups and work together. One St from each group repeats the descriptions they got after working in pairs.	To encourage Ss to speak up on the given pictures. To encourage Ss to use new words in the vocabulary tables in Ex 3.
5 min	Practice Pre-teach		Presents Ex 5 (In Ex 5 you are going to hear two contestants). Explains the meaning of the word contestant. Teacher plays the recording, stopping after each contestant for Ss to note their answers.	Ss listen to the recording carefully, take notes and are getting ready to answer the questions given in the task.	To develop skills of listening. To encourage to listen carefully in order to answer the questions.
5-8 min	Practice		Teacher asks Ss to read the task of Ex 6 on pg 24. Asks about the words in a given box. (Do you understand all the words in the box?) Asks to look through the sentences. Plays the recording, stopping after each sentence. Asks whether they managed to complete all the questions.	Ss listen to the recording and try to complete the questions with the words from the box.	To practice listening skills. To develop listening skills.
1min	Setting HW		Vocabulary Builder 3.1 Job and Genders: pg 130.	Write Down HW	To get ready for the dictation.
1-3 min	Finishing	Asks Ss what have they learnt and what can they do after the lesson.		Answer the questions. Mentions things they have learnt and things they can do.	To recall the information. To check Ss understanding.
