The T checks whether all the S did their homework. Marks those who did not do.  Checks together with the S. After each exercise the T asks whether everything is clear.

The T introduces a new topic ‘Reversing Roles’. The T asks whether the S know what it means. The T translates the topic into Lithuanian. Asks to put it down. Also the T write down Puzzle story on the board. Asks one of the S to read it out. After that the T asks why it is so. (Tells the S about the lateral thinking questions).
. Listen to what the T is saying. The S take notes. Take a look at the board and follow while one of the S is reading the puzzle. Try to find out the answer to the question.

The T asks to look at exercise one. Asks someone to read one more puzzle. Asks about possible reasons. If the S do not guess the right answer, the T tells them the answer. After that the T asks why it is difficult for many people to get the right answer.
One of the S read out the puzzle. Others are listening and trying to find out the answer to the question. After they get the right answer they try to find out another is answer which is written in the ex. 2.

The T asks to look at the photographs and tries to make the S spaek about the jobs they see in the photos. Also, the T asks to look at the box where the S are provided with variuos jobs. Before that The T translates the words together with the S. After that the T asks to answer the question given in the task. (What jobs are the  man and woman doing?)
The S look at the pictures. Share their ideas about them. Also the S answer all the T’s questions. Write down the translated words.
To develop speaking skills. To expand the Ss’ vocabulary.

The T presents ex.4. Asks one of the S to read the whole text. Before the S starts reading, the T asks to listen carefully without concentrating on the new vocabulary. At the same time the T asks the S to take a look at the board where the S see 4 important words. The T explains the meaning of the words together with the S. Finally, the T asks to follow the S who is reading and asks to keep the new words in mind during the reading activity. The main task after the reading is to find out about people;s reactions. The T asks several S to provide their answers. After that the T asks S to concentrate on the vocabulary used in the text. Translates together with the students. Asks the to write down the unknown words. The T asks to pay attention especially to the new phrasal verbs.
The S listen to what the T is saying about the exercise they are going to do. One of the S starts reading the text while the others are following. Almost all the S talk about the people’s reactions. First, they do not concentrate on the vocabulary. After all the questions are answered, they start concentrating on the new vocabulary. The S pay more attention to the new phrasal verbs: to find out, to carry out, to bring up and others.
To develop reading skills and to expand Ss’ vocabulary. To introduce the new phrasal verbs. To encourage the S to recall the text.

The T presents and explains the next task. The S have to decide if the sentences are true or false. The T explains that they have to correct the sentences that are false. Asks to work individually and checks the answers after 2-3 min. After that the T asks to read the sentences in turns.
Listen carefully and start doing the exercise. The S do the exercise individually and start checking after 2-3 minutes. The S read the sentences in turns.
To check the Ss’ understanding about the text.

Asks to look at ex. 6. Explains what they have to do. The S have to find te phrasal verbs in the text and match them with the definitions.
Listen to the T’s explanations and satrt doing the exercise. The S do it very quickly.
